My Greatest Decision was to Follow My Heart
My greatest decision was to leave my career with the U.S. government to follow my heart and pursue my life-long dream of becoming a full-time artistI I started this blog to encourage conversations with new and old friends alike to discuss why I made this decision and how it wasn’t the easiest decision for me, but one I felt I had to make for the sake of my sanity. I needed to follow my heart!
Decision to take the road less traveled.
It may be difficult for some people to understand why I chose to take the road less traveled. Everyone has people in their lives who prefer (or need) to follow a more secure path, and there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s what they want or need to do. Some might think I am pursuing the “elusive butterfly of happiness,” inferring that I’ll never find what I’m looking for, but my life experiences have shown me that life is short and can change direction on a dime. For me, I feel like life should be an adventure.
Life Should be an Adventure
So here I am, starting my second year living in Nova Scotia, Canada, with my hubby, I just received my work permit and and my permanent residency and I am hitting the ground running making new art and sharing my journey and new adventure with you.
Please subscribe to my once-in-a-while email newsletter and join me on my life’s journey. I’d love to hear your thoughts about my art and about what I write and post. Use the form on the sidebar (on the right) or in the footer to sign up and receive my latest posts — either option one is fine.
Thank you for joining me and I look forward to sharing my adventures with you!
